When I met up with Entrepreneur Andrew Reynolds, I was expecting to be met by a guy with a huge ego overflowing with cheesy phrases – like most of the ‘Guru’ types. Imagine my surprise then when I shook hands with a quiet – almost shy – down to earth gentleman who filled a cup for me, with fresh brewed coffee and offered me a handmade biscuit and napkin.

"Look at this .It makes me mad!" Andrew started off – gesturing to the coffee table which as well as refreshments also sported some copies of what appeared to be sales letters and websites printed out.

"It makes me mad. Look at this guy. He is telling people he’ll show them how to make £1milllion a year running seminars – he’s selling people courses on how to do it. He’s even had the cheek to use photos of an Andrew Reynolds Entrepreneurs Bootcamp in his sales letter. But I know he’s never done it himself –he has never made £1million a year with seminars! And that is the nub of the problem.

The web is full of these wannabes. People telling you that if you send them money, they will teach you how to make money – yet they have never actually done it for themselves. They are hoping that people will send them money – so they can make some! You see it all the time. There’s a guy out there with a website – showing people his new prestige car and offering a Get Rich Quick course – but the car’s not even his! He doesn’t own it. It’s just a flashy car he used for the picture."

Cleary to Andrew Reynolds this is a subject close to his heart. Andrew continued: "He’s offering to show people how to make lots of cash – but he’s never done it himself!"

I guess its just part of life these days – the internet is stuffed full of sites and email promotions offering to show you how to make money – often peddling some half-baked plan written by people who have never made any money for themselves.

Yet when I was offered the chance to meet up with Andrew Reynolds, I decided to check him out first. On his main website at www.andrew-reynolds.com I found over 2000 positive testimonials from people who have attended his charity Entrepreneurs Bootcamp events. I checked out a number of ‘discussion forums’ and on the more serious ones, I found a lot of students of Andrews with good things to say about him, including several who have made a lot of money by following his Cash On Demand techniques.

I found out that Andrew Reynolds was this years Surrey Business Person of the Year – a much coveted title and certainly something that gave me confidence that this guy knows what he is talking about.

His integrity is there for all to see. He is a patron of the Princes Trust, an Ambassador for the Make A Wish Foundation. Andrew has raised over £1million for children’s charities through his Entrepreneur Bootcamp events and he has received nominations for a number of awards nationally

His authority to teach on the subject of Home Based business comes from him having ‘walked the walk’. 11 years ago Andrew set up a business in his spare room at home, after having what he calls a ‘light-bulb moment’ during a seminar he was attending. Within 10 years that little spare room business had pulled in over for £30Million pounds and Andrew Reynolds quickly found he was in demand as a speaker at events, to share his Cash On Demand home business techniques with other aspiring entrepreneurs.

So – for my money – and having now met the guy face to face, - given the choice of buying into a ‘get rich quick’ scheme – or having Andrew Reynolds as my mentor – I know which route I would choose.
