Toning a Double Chin

The 'double-chin syndrome', which is a term used in reference to sagging neck and jowl region, afflicts many women. This double chin, however, can be battled by facial exercises, which can be very effective in toning double chin.
The following exercises are highly recommended to all either wishing to avoid, or eliminate their double chins. If done thrice a week, they should exhibit results within as short as a week.

While sitting or standing, tilt your head towards the ceiling, keeping your lips naturally closed, but not clamped shut. Begin a chewing movement. Repeat this exercise twenty times-make sure you can feel the muscles moving.

Sit upright. Then tilt your head so that you are looking up at the ceiling. Until now, your lips should have been together, without being forced shut. Now bring your lower lip over your upper lip as far as you can. Hold this position for a count of five. Return to the normal position. Repeat the exercise ten times.

While sitting or standing, gently turn your head to the left, keeping your chin steady, until you feel your muscles stretched. Hold this position for a count of five. Then move your head gently to the right, again until you feel a stretching sensation, and hold for a count of five. Repeat the exercise thrice.
These are a few of the simpler, easier exercises that can help in toning double chin as well as in reducing it. There are, of course, far more intense facial exercises. But it's better, perhaps, to start with exercises that don't require the beginner to exert himself/herself much, but is, nonetheless, fast working and extremely effective. Results can be seen in a few days.
These simple and effective neck and chin exercises can help you get rid of the flab accumulating around your neck and chin. They also help firming and toning your throat and neck.
These exercises, which can be done while standing or sitting, are not very strenuous and can be done by anyone, irrespective of age.
Your double chin might well be the result of a weight problem. If so, that needs to be dealt with first. To do that, you need to change your diet completely-avoid empty calories and junk food, eat healthy food, etc. This will both ensure good health and make sure that the weight you lose stays lost.
Absolute well-being can be achieved only, if not solely, through overall exercise. Exercise burns away large amounts of calories, and leaves you not just slimmer, but also better and generally happier with life. The weight you lose will help you get rid of your double chin.
If you choose to combine two or more of the methods of toning double chin prescribed above, you greatly increase your chances of doing so. Try combining the exercises with a better diet.
