You feel sincerely about nature and you are wondering what you could do to reduce global warming and climatic changes in your own small way? You have the environmental charities that look after the cause of global warming and climatic changes and these charities do accept donations from people like you. People who want to make a change in current climatic and global warming situation can donate some money to these environmental charities.
Environmental charities do not expect you to give them thousands or even hundreds of dollars. They would be happy with just a $10 from a family. This would boost their confidence and spirit. Small donations from large numbers of people can make a lot of difference. It helps these charities to buy piece of land, this money helps them to hire labor for reforestation and also taking care of these forests till these can sustain themselves.
Environmental charities do not simply carry out reforestation, rather these also have to take care in future that forests recreated are not again destroyed by cutting for commercial activities. Reforested lands need to be protected against any possible intervention by the local wood selling agents.
There are thousands of environmental charities all over the world. Earlier these charities drew donations from large corporations which were also responsible for spreading pollution more than anyone else. Now with new awareness spreading among people, common people too, want to contribute to something towards environment and its protection. Therefore, now it is not just the large corporations, but also people who donate to these charities so that they can function and bring out substantial changes in environment through reforestation.
Environmental charities are of two different types of scope. Some operate in their own country and try to start reforestation whereas there are some types of charities which function internationally. These charities collect a lot more sum of money and operate on a larger scale than those which work only inside the country. These are therefore, better organized and also their work is being scrutinized by thousands around the world.
These charities do try to promote themselves by organizing events which will attract public attention. These events also create awareness in minds of people making it possible to create a clear picture about how the environmental matters stand at present. This way people can be educated better - about what can cause pollution and the small things that could be done to avoid and to follow, if they want to do their planet something good.
If you want to donate for the well being of our planet Earth you can do so by simply contacting the environmental charities and knowing about their present projects and future plans. If anything catches your fancy you can actually donate some money, so we will leave our children a better place to live.
Buy Deforested Land, help it regenerate, and protect it from exploitation again forever. You can do something about Global Warming and deforestation right now. The Wild Again Reforestation Trust relies on public donations to purchase deforested land.
