Article marketing is one of the most incredible strategies ever to be incorporated with online advertising .
It has proven to be the most cost-efficient and most effective of them. By the term itself, you probably would know what this kind of marketing is about. By writing articles that are content-rich, you will be able to reach more people online and drive targeted traffic to your website. Not only that, you will be able to brand your company name and project a credible image to those who may have chanced upon your articles.
For a long time now there has been a lot of buzz in the online world about article marketing, but I am still frequently asked how to make it work? A brief answer is that like any large medium, the internet is hungry for fresh content.
You’ve heard the saying before that, "content is king". That’s not completely true, "Unique and Fresh content is king".
If you have tons of truly great content that the search engines refuse to recognize because they’ve seen it before elsewhere, what good is it doing you? None!!
Search engines algorithms are constantly becoming more sensitive to, and tougher on, duplicate content. You need unique and fresh content that will produce results both with the search engines and with your readers.
However, unlike other media outlets such as TV, radio and newspapers, which generally only use content from professional writers, on the internet, anyone can publish. Article marketing is a way of taking advantage of that freedom and using the medium as a way to bring targeted traffic stream to your website or blog.
Modern search marketing trends require staying updated so that a good and fresh content from your articles marketing campaigns matters a great deal for generating targeted Traffic to your website.
Let’s think about natural human behaviour - especially natural human behaviour online. When people are searching for information online, they are really ’scanning’ words and looking for the title questions and answers that ‘pop out’ to them, Also, people that search for information online are going through a LOT of words and get a bit tired of reading all the fluffy stuff to try and find their solution.
Readers are scanning answers but what if a good question pops up from the article? What if they didn’t even thought this question is related to the basic idea they are reading your article for? What if they find a series of those questions and answers?
In this case the discussed human behaviour above is changing to satisfy the curiosity those questions raised and then your readers will take the time to close reading, take notes, even bookmark the article or better, as statistics shows that probably they will click the link to your website to get what you offer.
Yes, But How To get your website pop up in the search engines when people conduct search?
One of the secrets to article marketing is that you have to ask the right questions, respond with the right answers while keeping the right keyword density rate in order that you article will pop up in the search engines when people conduct search.
So how to do it?
Write an article and put your strategic keyword in the questions/titles.
Bold the keyword. (According to my experience, it helps the search engines robots to quickly index the article based on the keyword used)
Respond with the right answers based on the keyword used in the question and try to place this keyword at the beginning of the answer phrase or up to the fifth word.
Try to keep a keyword density rate of 2% in the answer and up to 3% keyword density rate thought all the article.
For a 400-500 words article I’m using one keyword or keyword phrase while keeping 1.5% keyword density rate, For 800 -1200 words article I’m using up to four keywords while keeping 3% keyword density rate for the main keyword , 2% keyword density rate for the second keyword and 1% keyword density rate for the rest of my keywords. Usually most of my articles are considered as fresh content for the search engines and dominate Google first page.
Very important to remember is to place the main keyword at the beginning and the end of the article body just like you can see on this article, it’s a tip that i recently learnt and it’s a good addition to article marketing seo.
