In this article we will discuss about the methods of dictating drug influence on a person. To make our society and surrounding healthy one it is very important. Use of recreational drugs like alcohol and heroine, cocaine and other number of drugs creates nuisances and disturbances in an otherwise healthy and peaceful society. Now in offices and in any institution testing of drug substances are becoming a must to do thing. It is only to help the other people and the affected person to lead a peaceful life. In every field like sports and educational institution, official institutions everywhere this drug test is gradually becoming mandatory. From any ones behavior you cannot be confirmed on the note that he or she is illegal recreational drug addicted or not. It may be the effects of other things too.
Generally a person’s behavioral conduct and other apparent things are enough to show the addiction or symptoms. If an employee is taking drugs then his or her personal changes or changes of conduct will clearly show you the fact. Without testing you can perceive the change by these factors. They are lack of attention, lack of interest in his or her work, abandonment from family members, swing of mood, decreasing of self-esteem, change of style, and change in dressing senses, repeated absenteeism from school and workplace are some of visible symptoms of drug abuse. For an employee his or her decreasing productivity and work esteem are the signs of taking drug.
In most cases the employees need to go under a few tests like saliva test, urine test, hair test to pass a drug test. One of the most common method testing is a urine test. In most of the cases the urine sample of the subject is collected and either checked with a panel kit or is sent to the lab for a thorough test depending on the need of the employer. Instant testing is relatively simple, inexpensive, and yet highly accurate.
Saliva test: In this process the sample of the persons saliva is tested to find out tresses of drug in the body. But this is not much of a very effective method as through this only the usage of drugs in the past few days can be found. But intake of drugs before that period cannot be determined. Also there are other methods like hair test or the hair follicle test. In this process the result can be more accurate than the saliva test. In case the subject doesn’t have hair on his head; his hair follicle is tested for the same purpose, though this is a bit more painful process for the candidate. The drawback of the hair test is that, though it can give results depending on the usage of drugs for quite longer period or even drug usage about a month earlier, but in this process the very recent usage cannot be found out. The best process is however the blood test and perhaps gives the most accurate results.
