There are every few easy ways to lose weight. However, you can lose weight by walking. This is one of the most overlooked but most effective exercises when it comes to weight loss. Without the appropriate exercise then you won't lose weight at all.

Here are a few ways that you can lose weight by walking:

Walk the walk.

Take the time out of your day (about 30 minutes a day) and just take a walk outside. It is best to take a walkman, cd player or ipod with you so you can keep yourself entertain while walking. You should do this about 4-5 times a week if you want to see immediate results. This is really one of the easy ways to lose weight.

Diet Journal: Record what you eat and when you eat it. This is important. It is surprisingly easy to forget what you eat. I've had people delude themselves into thinking they barely eat and complain when they don't lose weight. The fact is that they're munching on potato chips and candy while they're busying working at their job.

Reduce your meal portions

One of the easy ways to lose some excess weight is to cut down the quantity of your meal portions to reduce food consumption. Make sure that you take small portions of food every time and increase the frequency of eating to about 5-6 times a day by including healthy servings of fruits and vegetables like salads. However, make sure to avoid salad dressings that are oily and fattening.

Eat more protein-based foods

Eat more protein-based foods which can help in increasing your metabolism and burn fat more easily. A protein rich diet helps you to preserve your lean muscle and gives you good energy after a workout. Make sure that the protein foods that you choose are low in fat to get the best results.

One of the best ways to get your body burning the fat that you want it to burn is to spike up your metabolism. This puts your body into a super overdrive mode that will have your metabolism killing all the calories you eat, which also forces your body to burn the excess fat. The way you do this is by intense cardio for a short period of time. Usually running sprints can do this kind of thing. It doesn't have to be crazy, it just has to be efficient.

Spinning like when you were a kid

Remember how you naturally would spin around as a child? Those were the days. No stress, no job, no responsibilities... just pure fun. Well anyway, guess what? Those spins act in a natural way on your body to balance out your hormones. Without balanced hormones, you can't lose weight and keep it off.

Control of calories. Take anywhere from 1300-1800 calories per day. Although you can eat 5 meals a day, each meal should not exceed 400 calories. If you find it hard to follow, you can replace 2 -3 meals a day with shakes and easy calories.

If you are really in search of an easy way to weight, there are multiple way outs. What you need to do on your end is to stick to a particular positive plan and you will be successful.
