Ninja Marketing is the art of advertising thru sources where nobody expect advertising or to hijack somebody else marketing for your product. This tactic is common used in offline marketing, but you can easily adopt it for your online marketing.
First I want to show you some simple ideas of offline ninja marketing before I show you how to use similar concepts online. Do you use public transportations to go to work in the morning? If you answer with yes you have probably noticed all those thrown away newspapers that get picked up by someone. You can easy put a flyer into them and get your message spread. You know those little yellow Post-It stickers? Write your advertisement on it and place them on some car doors. They look like very personal notes and guarantee attention. Or you cant write a “readers letter” to your local newspaper and hope that they print it. If they print it you got much more exposure then you could imagine.
All methods have one thing in common. They are effective and very cheap. We want to adopt those ideas for our online marketing. It has to be cheap and effective. Let’s go true the typical online advertisements. Traffic Exchanges, cheap but not effective. AdWords/PPC, effective but not cheap. Bought Leads, expensive and ineffective if you don’t call them. Now we are already done with the typical marketing advices. They aren’t what we are looking for.
Let’s start with our ninja online marketing.
Articles and free information’s
Articles are a great way to get your message spread. Indeed you are at the moment reading an advertisement. You can spread your name, your link and your message to thousands of prospects while building your name and reputation. You even get high quality backlinks from high PR pages just for submitting your article to them. If you think you cant write an article I couldn’t disagree more. Just write about your business or your marketing campaign.
Forums and Communities
Use the power of free speech. What for VIPs is “Do something good and talk about it” is for the Online Marketer “Talk about how well you are doing”. In forums we find laser targeted prospects. When they are active in a forum dedicated to make money online they are defiantly interested in a great opportunity. Even if you make a monolog, just keep posting. A steady presence will build your reputation and bring you results. Simply post your link and ask: WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT IT? You will defiantly get some answers. Build a friendly and open minded picture of your self. Being a clean a sterile marketer focused on closing a sell won’t help you here.
Blogs
Install your own blog. It will help you to stay in touch with your customers and give you a much higher reputation. You can post your articles there, talk about your great results, offer free services like free PPC credits and earn some money from adsense. Give out some personal information’s about you like what you like, where you are from what’s your dogs name etc.
Leadcapture pages aka 2 in 1 sites
Offer your prospects something for free in return they have to give you there email address. Of course we have a autoresponder set up to tell them about our main product. A good idea Is a free E-Book, marketing report, insider information’s or a free Ad on your page. Just something that makes your visitor interested. You don’t need a “All capital bold red letters million dollar sales page”. Keep it simple!
Guestbook’s
You find them everywhere on the net. Leave a personal message and a link to your blog or leadcapture page. Nothing special just something like “Hi, xy from abc here, you got a great website. I would really appreciate it if you would visit my page and tell me what you think about it.” That’s it.
Now that you got some ideas how to market on low budget there are for sure millions of other ways. Use them, accept failure but stay focused! You are playing a game and don’t wan to lose!
