Currently when you straighten your hair with blow dryer and a round brush, were you be skeptical that whether the ionic hair dryers live up to their claim of drying hair faster, and healthier? Here are some advices you could take into account.
With a blow dryer and a styling brush. The blow dryer does not dry any faster, although it is very gentle and takes tangles out of your hair. It could makes your hair less full than a reg. dryer, which makes your fine hair full and tingly. Then use the ionic one to smooth. The curling brush doesn't do anything special. Also have the sharper image hair brush. It makes your hair smell fresh.
With a Revlon ionic hair dryer returned it after one use. It was not only VERY heavy, but also it took almost twice as long for you to dry or straighten your hair. This was no doubt due to the fact that it generated very little heat--great for hair but not so great for a tight schedule.
With an ionic hair dryer. When you blow dry your hair and then straighten with a flat iron. Switching to an ionic blow dryer has done wonders with split ends! Usually let your hair air dry until you are ready to blow dry it. It doesn't take any longer than your normal previous dryer. It has 3 heat settings and 3 blowing settings...so the heat is never an issue. In fact, left it on "Medium" heat, and have never put it on "hot" heat setting.
Anyway, Wash your hair, put Pomade in it (not a lot, as it can make your hair look oily after blow drying), then blow dry it. There are a lot of different Pomades, but go with the all natural that the only ingredients are Petrolatum, Fragrance and Lanolin Oil. Your hair would be totally different, it would be not so dry, looks healthier, feels great.
An adjustable heat and speed settings are essential to make it easier for you to achieve the specific look that you want. For instance, if you want a smooth blowout, the ideal settings to use are medium heat and low speed.
You might think that just because you have a hair dryer that you do not have to towel dry your hair anymore. But this is just wrong. Remember that drying your hair when it is still overly wet is not advisable to do because your hair in this state will not be able to take the heat from your hair dryer. So it is wise that you first dry your hair lightly and gently with a towel until it is just damp and not overly wet anymore.
To do this, turn you head upside down while blow-drying. Next, you have to position the airflow of the dryer toward the roots to lift up the hair. After the hair gets dry, toss the head back, and brush your hair gently.
Even if you have bought a durable hair dryer like a t3 hair dryer for example, you still need to take good care of it so that it would last a long time with you. Unplug the dryer right after use. It is not good for the dryer and not safe for you to leave it plugged when not in use.
Do not wrap the cord around the dryer because this can cause shortages. Avoid exposing the hair dryer to water and store it securely out of children's reach. Read the manual carefully before using.
With these simple tricks and techniques on dryer, it would be a cinch to do the task of blow drying and achieving fabulous looking tress.
