A Truck Driver: That is, I was just working a normal slavery type job. Pop Delivery guy working 60+ working hours every week. Running stacks and stacks of pop into grocery stores 10-12 hours daily.

No time for my family and my great kids. No energy left by the end of the day. And looking at no life at the end of a career. After 15 years spinning my wheels, still broke, watching co-workers breaking down their bodies till they couldn't even throw their kids up in the air in play, I decided to look for a way out of the slavery of a dead end job.

You know they say slavery is gone. THAT'S A BOLD-FACED LIE! Think of it, Getting up before the sun comes up, go to work and run and sweat all day, just in time to see the kids go to bed, grab a bite to eat, crash in the bed and just get up in time to start over. Work like that from the age of 20 on and after 15 years not have an extra $1000 in your bank account. All that for what....To Keep a roof over your head, and feed your family and if at any time you stop doing that ...the "man" will be beating down your door to take it all away. SLAVERY IS ALIVE AND WELL!

So what did Ed From Ohio do? Well, I wanted more and Went to college nights and finally got my MBA, Masters in Business Administration, in my early 30's. I got a job as a mortgage broker nights after throwing pop all day. But I realized after working so hard to get the degree that I did not want to go work for another boss. Yeah I could make a little more money and I could change my blue uniform into a suit and tie...But all that was just geography. I would still be a slave--just a little higher up on the slave ladder. The bills would go up the house would get bigger (more expensive) the cars would get nicer (bigger car payments) and the life style a little better. But it would still be ME working for someone else and Making "the Man" rich. Still working day to day and having to depend on someone else to enable me to have a roof over my head and food on the table. I had to find a way out of the financial shackles.

Fast forward through those years to about 7 years ago. I started looking for a franchise or my own business. But I couldn't get the money to start a $250,000 subway or a $50,000+ pizza place. I had never heard of work at home opportunities or networking. I thought working from home would be becoming a babysitter and networking was talking to people I knew about getting a better job.

Once I was introduced to the work at home business arena and network marketing I really saw the numbers game. Get whatever you are marketing in front of enough people and you are bound to make money. Wash, Rinse, and Repeat (i.e. do it again and again). Sad state of affairs though I had to beg and borrow to come up with $4000 to get my butt in the game. I did it-on Borrowed funds!

Miracle of miracles. I was introduced a simple system. A system where all I had to do was get interested people to some sort of presentation that would tell, sell, convince, and explain everything for me to dozens of people at one time. By the way that is one of the secrets to network marketing, mlm, home business programs, and any type of sales. Find large numbers of people that are interested, put them through a proven system, and help the doers go out and do what you do.

Applying simple systems allowed me to fire my bosses in less than 3 weeks. I earned 5-figures in less than a month, My First Month! I have achieved a lot of success and a lot of ups and downs. Struggle and strife and success. Weeks of zero income to 5-figure weeks, yep 10kweeks are possible. I also discovered the incredible power and need to have effective marketing systems in place and tons of pre-qualified being consistently funneled through your multiple income streams. I also discovered the need to help people. The more people you help the more money that you make and the more you get what you want.
