A MLM company based in Oregon, Efusjon brings a high level of hype along with a healthier substitute for energy drinks. The energy drink market is the fastest growing segment in the health and wellness industry. In addition, Efusjon brings much credibility as the former Vice President of Paramount Pictures and Microsoft founds the group. The combination of Derek Broes with the CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, adds to the hype. This article examines the Efusjon company's innovations in both product and business opportunity.
While the market for energy drinks is booming, Efusjon is still years behind the first energy drink MLM company. In addition, Xango and Mona Vie opened business shortly after Efusjon. On the positive side for Efusjon, it is estimated that energy drink sales will reach five billion dollars in year 2009, and sales are expected to climb to nine billion dollars by 2011. On the negative side, companies including Sobe, Monster, Bawls, Rockstar, and Red Bull hold a significant portion of the energy drink market. While mainstream energy drinks may produce the desired effect at the cost of the consumer's health, efusjon delivers the vitamins and nutrients necessary for a healthy body. The RAW and EDGE drinks promise to deliver a high level of antioxidants as well as support the body’s metabolism. These drinks help the body stay mentally sharp. The Breeze drinks aids the body to stay at peak athletic performance for hours on end. Efusjon uses a mix of mangosteen, passion fruit, and caffeine for the Breeze drink. The fourth product, Dawn, has an abundant source of antioxidants and fights against fatigue, depression and anxiety. The Dawn drink uses quercetin, citrus, and caffeine as ingredients. Dawn is the only product that is not carbonated. Traditional energy drinks feature taurine and guarine. It is surprising to me that Efusjon can still consider their drinks healthy when the drinks contain caffeine. However, I suppose it is in part the caffeine that classifies them as ‘energy’ drinks. The Efusjon drinks are competitively priced and offer a demanded alternative to traditional ingredients. The Efusjon product line-up adds to the company's appeal along with the chance to seize on an opportune market.
Efusjon tweaked the typical MLM compensation plan in order to produce what they call 'The Overlap Matrix.' It pays the distributor 4.25% on his downline or anyone referred by him. It also pays 1.25% on all distributors referred through ‘The Overlap Matrix’ or their personal team members. The overlap matrix includes compensation from people who are not even a part of one’s team. The cost of joining the Efusjon Energy Club business is very affordable at merely $30. At only $30, Efusjon has a very low startup fee, and it includes a website and Facebook marketing system. The main qualification to receive payment is to recruit three people into business and hold an autoship of at least 48 drinks at $120 plus shipping each month. The Facebook application and low-cost website marketing system are the greatest draw to Efusjon, though the website lacks a capture form to accept lead information. This increases the difficulty of obtaining affiliate sales commissions while using the Efusjon marketing system. In addition, the Efusjon opportunity is not entirely based off of an attraction marketing system. Efusjon does not provide a high level of training to advance their independent marketers' expertise. Without outside help, an Efusjon representative would be in poor condition to achieve a high level of success.
The number of Efusjon representatives is growing at one of the fastest rates in the industry, and the opportunity warrants research from MLM business owners. Efusjon prospects should ask themselves the following questions: number one, is Efusjon the most competitive energy drink for demand and price? If there is already competition, is the product the most competitive in the current marketplace? Also, are there better opportunities out there that suit my personal interests? Many people are making good incomes from the Efusjon opportunity, but do you have and possess the tools and skills necessary to earn the income you desire? Efusjon does not provide those; it is the responsibility of the business owner to make his business profitable.
