Should we try these without caring about side effects? Let us discuss about some of the most popular weight loss supplements, you will find in almost all the online or offline health food store.
Fucoxanthin is an antioxidant and is considered useful not only in controlling obesity, but also in heart diseases and diabetes. The natural source of fucoxanthin is edible brown seaweed used in miso soup. It is advertised that it targets the abdominal fat and it is not a stimulant like caffeine or bitter orange. However this product has been tested on animals and is yet to be tested on human body.
Hoodia, a well known herbal weight loss supplement is considered as a natural appetite suppressant. However you should be more cautious while buying this product, as most of the health stores sells counterfeit or fake hoodia. They will also warn you not to buy their competitor's fake hoodia pills. Unfortunately hoodia products have also not been clinically tested yet on the human body.
Obese people with diabetes or insulin resistance may use Chromium although it is equally useful for all other people also. Its main function is to help the movement of hormone insulin into our blood cells. The chromium is also necessary for normal carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism. It is considered that chromium may affect neurotransmitter levels in the human body, so it should always be taken under the guidance of qualified health care professionals.
Guarana, another weight loss supplement has black seeds. This is found mostly in the rain forests. Its seeds are rich in caffeine and act like a stimulant. These increase the consumption of energy in the human body. Excessive use of guarana seeds may cause anxiety and heart problems as they stimulate the central nervous system of the body. So you should be much careful while using guarana as a weight loss supplement.
Apple Cider Vinegar is a natural appetite suppressant. It works like a "fat-burner" in the human body. The apple cider vinegar diet includes two or three teaspoons of apple cider vinegar before each meal. Apple cider vinegar pills may also be used. Excessive use of apple cider vinegar tablets may be harmful for the health; however some vinegar used while cooking foods may be safe and useful.
There are many more weight loss supplements available in the health stores. These include Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA), Chitosan and Ephedra etc. It is always advisable that never use any weight loss supplement without knowing about it properly. You may find more information and better deals about these products online.
