YouTube is the largest video community ranked as the 3rd most visited website in the world by Alexa.com. With Google recently buying YouTube for 1.65 Billion dollars, there are a number of solid reasons why you should seriously consider marketing in this community.

· Video is one of the hottest platforms today online.

· Video is seen as the future of where the Internet is going.

· Video is why a mega company like Google would invest 1.65 Billion dollars into a website that never produced a profit.

Do you think Google did their homework before making this kind of "Billion" dollar investment? You bet they did!

Now that Google has become YouTube there are even more benefits as marketers to be using this platform.

One of my favorites is how easy it is now to get to the top page of Google for your keyword phrase when uploading and marketing a simple YouTube video the right way.

Like any other social networking community, YouTube is an incredible place to meet new joint venture partners.

Some of my biggest JV's were created right here, and I'm very active in this community for obvious reasons.

Go ahead and create a new account, it is absolutely free to do so. When creating your profile in the description box, that's where you want to share with everyone information about yourself, and the benefits to subscribing to your channel and watching your videos. One way to get this rolling quickly is to pull out a pen and paper and ask "what's in it for them?"

Be sure to leave your website link in this box. When people visit your channel and like what they see, they can go click on your website.

Now that you have customized your profile and you're ready to start building your channel, the fun begins.

Your sole objective here is to build your subscribers list. The more targeted people subscribed to your channel the more traffic you will get to your website.

First you'll want to identify who your niche market is so you can focus your marketing efforts on them.

There are two very simple ways of building your YouTube subscribers list.

  1. Start subscribing to the channels of your niche market, and start leaving them comments all over their videos and channels, as it drives traffic back to your channel.

This is your whole objective...

Every time you comment on their channel, it's like you're placing a free add on their website.

Do it often, and use this to your advantage.

Let's say you comment on a channel with 20,000 + subscribers. Not only is your comment going to be seen by the channel owner, ALL the traffic visiting that channel will view it as well.

It becomes a simple formula of the more you subscribe and comment on someone else's material the more traffic that will naturally come back to you.

These are just some of the ways you can build a mega YouTube subscriber list from scratch.

  1. The second way is by just posting videos. The more videos you post the more real estate you own on the Internet driving traffic back to your website.

So let me ask you this... Do you want to build a successful YouTube channel driving truckloads of targeted traffic, leads, and sales to your website?

If you answered yes then you want to post videos and actively contribute to the community by commenting and subscribing to other people's channels.

Always remember, the more you do for others the more it will come back to you.
