American Idol has changed so many lives. There have been so many great musicians that have come out of this show including Jennifer Hudson, Clay Aiken and Carrie Underwood. Can you imagine what music would be like without many of these artists? Even though there are several famous artists that didn't win their season, they had a chance to get their name and voice out there and many of them ended up with record deals after appearing.
And even if you don't win American Idol still makes a ton of money on the Season DVD's including the initial auditions, plus on collaborative music CD's and television commercials. So no matter who wins or loses they still make out like bandits.
American Idol Season 8 was wrapped with a little bit more controversy than most seasons, although they have seen their share over the years, with Fantasia being a young single mother, and people being thrown off early for criminal records and stints of professional performances. Over all this most recent season really kept the buzz, perhaps it was the look of Adam on stage, but fans started to believe that he was gay and really Adam Lambert kept lips tightly pursed as he went about his weekly performances on Idol.
The Season 8 American Idol CD is filled with some amazing talent and is definitely worth purchasing. Due to release any day are the albums from the top 2 performers of Season 8 as well Kris Allen and Adam Lambert. Adam Lambert's debut album is called For Your Entertainment, and well to look at the cover, fans might just be right about this superstar. His album cover finds him with makeup and long hair, now I don't know if he is gay or not, his music is incredible so it really doesn't matter, but I might be thinking along the lines of cross dresser looking at that cover.
When it comes down to it though, after you weed through all of the controversy and excitement of this season, you will find that the music is amazing and that is really all that matters. Both of these CD's will be coming out soon so they would make great gifts for the holiday season for any of your music loving friends or family members.
I think that it is wonderful that they are coming out with DVD's and movies for show's like American Idol so that you can see them again with your friends.
