Pay Per Click, for some those words seem intimidating but for the seasoned marketer those words mean pure profit. PPC is a great get it now traffic generation methods - no seo required, jump to the first page take no prisoners solution to targeted visitors.

On the other hand many wonder just what keywords bring in the bucks and which ones take the bucks out of your pocket. If you’ve ever played around with PPC you know what I’m talking about and probably experienced an Google Slap or two in your lifetime. It would be nice to know just what exactly Google and the other PPC networks are looking for.

I’ve been playing the PPC game for quite a few years and I can tell you from experience that PPC is a force to be reckoned with, both profit wise and profit loss wise. Not to mention the almighty Google quality score. As the years go on our big brother Google has been becoming tougher and tougher on your ads quality score.

So I went on the search for a way to find my quality score before I launched a new campaign, one of my friends recommended Google Goggles which is a software that will evaluate your landing page and spit out a potential quality score based on your ad text, landing page text, and keyword relevancy. My ears perked up, those were the things I knew that the PPC networks looked at the most, I was interested.

So I bit the bullet and bought the software and put it to work for my next campaign. At first I was skeptical, I mean this software was telling me what I needed to do in order to gain the quality score I wanted, it essentially was Google telling me what they are looking for.

Come on, I mean I had a landing page in front of me that I made a few changes on and now I would get a 8/10 quality score. Well whatever I thought to myself and away we went, set a low max keyword bid and sent it away.

The next day I returned t my AdWords account and checked on my quality score and sure enough I was running a 8/10 quality score for the whole keyword group. This is got to be a fluke I thought so went and checked some of my other campaigns and landing pages in Google Goggles and sure enough I saw the same quality score. I was convinced. Now I use Google Goggles for all my PPC campaigns.

I know this article started to sound like a sales letter, but I wanted to get the word out about Google Goggles because I was myself a skeptic and was pleasantly surprised by the performance of this software.

I learned a lesson, there may be a product right under your nose that can eliminate a lot of head aches if you just give it a chance, heck most of the time there is a money back guarantee for these products so what do you have to lose.
