Internet marketing plan step 1: Pick your internet marketing methods
The first step to creating an internet marketing plan that gets you tons of exposure and ultimately leads to more clients is to pick the right internet marketing methods for your personality type. If you’re terrified of public speaking, don’t try to get a speaking gig right off the bat. You can work your way to that point if you’d like, but first you have to start small to help you overcome your public speaking fears. Or, if you just have no desire in public speaking, you’re better off avoiding it entirely and focusing on other methods that do interest you.
Internet marketing plan step 2: Combine your content
Fresh content is great, but you’ll quickly face burn-out if you always try to come up with something fresh and new. That great teleseminar you held last month can be transcribed into an ebook or special report that you can sell online or give away as an incentive to get more newsletter subscribers. Add in an audio clip to give people a choice in how they want to get your message, and you’ve got a great product that can sell itself time and time again, without any extra work on your part.
Internet marketing plan step 3: Create an editorial calendar
This step sounds more complicated than it is. Basically, to create an editorial calendar for your internet marketing plan, you just need to brainstorm new topic ideas for your internet marketing plan and plug them into a planner or blank calendar. That way, when it’s time to publish your e-zine (or e-newsletter), you just glance at your planner, find the topic for that day, and use the info to piece together your e-zine article. An editorial calendar is a huge time-saver when you’re smack-dab in the middle of your week and don’t have time to brainstorm a new article or blog idea; you just grab the topic and go.
If you put these steps in place, you can easily leap ahead of your competitors and begin building a wildly successful service business.
