For anyone in the MLM industry, hearing about the new hottest deal to enter the market is just part of the game.

Successful top reps in MLM learn early on never to get distracted by the latest hot deal, but its hard to ignore a potential game changer.

Is TVI Express a potential "Game Changer"? Many would say it is.

I was contacted a few weeks ago by a new rep for TVI Express called Greg, who was interested in learning internet lead generation. He told me about the company background, the products and how quickly they were growing.

I had to ask him to repeat what he said next, since I was sure I did not hear him correctly!

He said he had made a rather staggering amount in just the last 2 months. Now I have been in the industry for over 22 years and have seen it all, but I have to admit, the amount he mentioned making in such a short time period shocked me.

Here is what I found when I really dug into the program and took a close look.

TVI Express is when you come right down to it a travel club that launched their business model in January of 2009 in Asia.

Travel MLM's have been around for a long time and they usually do very well, at least for a while. Lets face it people get excited about the idea of travel, it makes a great product.

My review found some remarkable things about the TVI business.

Product

TVI does not try to make you a travel agent as many deals have done. They kept it a club and have a 1 week travel voucher as the core product. Cost on the voucher which you get when you become a distributor is very good at $250 US. Now for a for a week for two people at a nice resort I have spent more than that in one day! (it may in fact cost you $275 or $300 but more on that in the full review)

There are some other nice benefits such as discounts on other types of travel like ship cruises or car rentals.

No Autoship

Autoship is where TVI sets themselves apart from the other travel deals who have usually charged pretty heavy monthly fees to influence the comp plan. TVI has none! This is a great promotion feature but may be an Achilles heal for them in the future.

Company

Since starting in Asia they have grown to over 150 countries. Their original home office was in the UK and according to their website they are backed by a major UK financial group.

Ground Floor

They are of course ground floor since they only started business several months ago, but the company claims they are currently the most rapidly growing company in the world. They claim to have over 200,000 distributors, and that was before reaching the US market, which of course is the largest MLM market in the world.

Compensation

They have a very aggressive matrix compensation plan. In most MLM's, they pay you a small amount of residual on all downline activity every week or month.

With this Matrix, you don't get paid when you sponsor someone or even when volume gets generated in your team. The money that would go to pay all those small residuals is held and then paid out when you hit a threshold point.

The threshold points equal some good pocket change, $500 for one, $10,000 for the next.

Here is an example that will help you understand. The first matrix is called the Traveler Board which pays out $500 and the next matrix is the Express Board which pays out $10,000. The lower and upper matrix structure of TVI's comp plan each have 4 levels and you move from the bottom to the top as your team grows.

Once you arrive at the top of the first matrix, the Traveler Board, you receive a bonus of $500 and then move to the Express Board.

Once you move to the Express Board, you objective is to move to the top and collect you next commission of $10,000 plus an additional bonus of $5,000 in travel benefits.

Once you have been successful and collected your commission you can keep recycling your position through the Express Board over and over and continue collecting commissions.

The big payouts are made by having more than one distributorship, which the company allows.

These threshold payments are great but if you are like me, you recognize the value of residual income. TVI also pays a residual once you have become a leader, of anywhere from 5% to10% of group volume.

There are many differences in building strategies depending on which group you join and what they teach. Keep in mind you will improve you odds by joining a very active group that teaches multiple positions.

Commentary

This is a very interesting variation of the Travel MLM Look, the product is interesting, the market niche is proven, but in the end its all about the money. Deals that reward more distributors with more money generate more excitement and grow faster. This deal provides that.

I have talked to many top reps in MLM and asked them their opinion about TVI, and responses range all over the board. In the end the choice is yours. TVI Express has an actual product that has value and they pay their commissions.

It will be mostinteresting to watch where they go now.

Pay attention to the fact that in theory all you need to succeed is to sponsor two and then if you are in an active group, spillover should handle the rest.

Don't bet the ranch on this approach. Yes, if you bring in 2 new reps you will be qualified but a winning business plan is never based on doing the minimums.

Notice the word "Marketing" in network marketing, to be successful with any Network Marketing company, you need to learn how to set up a marketing system so you can plan on bringing a number of new reps in each month. Its no different with TVI.
