You need an autoresponder because the whole purpose to actually getting someone to a webpage in online marketing or getting them to kind of listen to what you have to say, the purpose is to be able to create a relationship, provide value, give them things that maybe they're looking for, information and the best way to do that is with an autoresponder because listen, any tasks that you can actually automate are going to help you in the long run.

What an autoresponder does... and I'm kind of partial to AWeber. What an autoresponder does is it actually allows you to communicate on an ongoing basis with people, completely automated. Once you set it up and you set up your autoresponder series of messages it can actually be going out while you're enjoying time with your family, doing whatever you want to do. Once you set it up it's set it and forget it pretty much with an autoresponder, so it's really cool because if you have a squeeze page or a landing page what you do is you actually have a name and email address that you collect from that page.

Once somebody puts that in it automatically adds them to your list, your autoresponder list. You can have as many lists as you want and then you can communicate with that person. So you know you could literally send them one message every single day for the next 365 days on autopilot. Once you set it up you just set it up and you know have the settings appropriately done in your account and then it will continue to send messages to somebody over and over and over again.

Also if you find something new, something different, something that you actually want to share with them then you could send out a broadcast to everybody on your list. It's really cool and you need an autoresponder because communicating with people is very, very important. You never know what you might run into and once you have that email address you want to keep communicating and building that rapport as much as you can.
