PPC, SEO, Twitter, those are all buzz words right now in the online business community. However, hiding behind all those flashy techniques and strategies is another way to get your information, business, and name out into cyberspace. I’m talking about article marketing.
Using article marketing in your business campaigns is a great way to establish your credibility as a leader with useful information, who is willing and able to share with others. So the question is: "How do you use articles to grow your business?"
First, we must recap a little about how to write an effective article. You must first pick a subject that is interesting, relevant, and useful. Then support your subject/"big idea" with the body, comprised of examples, details, statistics, that all go back to the main point. Wrap it all up with a nice conclusion that doesn’t leave anything hanging, and slap a unique, eye-catching title on for added viewing.
Now that you know the steps involved in writing an article, you can use them to develop your business by providing value. Always write material that assists others; don’t just pitch your business, people don’t want to be sold. As you write, even tell secrets that have helped you. To be a leader you must give without want. The more you give the more people respect and admire you.
So now that you have this amazingly well-written article that contains gobs of free, valuable information, what do you do with it? This is where Google comes in handy. Just search: "free article submission" and a ton of websites pop up. Simply register and post for free. But wait! Don’t post on every single one, multiple times each day; that’s redundant. Only put it on about five sites every three-four days. Two other great places to post are your blog/website and business networking sites.
In the long run, article marketing will grow your business by establishing you as a knowledgeable leader who can provide value and through that bring you prospects. When you post your articles always use the author’s bio or resource box to mention how people can contact you. By developing relationships and helping people in this way, you’ll produce qualified business partners that will trust you and grow your business.
