Commonly, when a dish TV DVR receiver records certain satellite TV program, it gets stored to the hard drive memory in a compressed format. Therefore the video data can easily fit into the memory of pocket dish device. Other portable video players can only accept data from computers while pocket dish can be accessed directly from your television set up for unhindered access at any time of the day. A typical pocket dish resembles with video iPod in terms of LCD display and hard drive capacity. But you must keep few things in mind. You should have a computer as an equipment to connect it or else it is practically of no use.
