What do you value most in your life? What kind of life do you want for yourself and your family? What do you want your life to look at feel like? What kind of person do you want to be?

These are the sort of questions you must ask yourself in order to determine what role your work from home internet business is going to play in your life. I don't believe that your money making home business should be your life. It should certainly play a role in your life but it should not be the major player.

Your primary aim is the answer to all of the questions alluded to above.

How would you like your life story to pan out? What would you like to say about your life after its too late to do anything about it?

If you think of it this way, it is like you were able to write a script for a recording to be played at your funeral. How would you like it to read?

I know it might sound a little morbid but this is a good way to think about it.

Once you have created the script you just need to make it come true. Start living your life as if it were important. Take your life seriously.

It is so important to actively make your life in to the life you wish it to be.

Sounds simple? Yes

It is easy? No

But this is essential if you want your work from home internet business to have any meaning beyond being work.

If you want your work from home internet business to make any major contribution towards that dream, if your money making home business is going to be a major part of your primary aim then you must let your business know what that primary aim is.

So obviously you need to work out what your primary aim is in order to do this.

If you have no clear idea of how you wish your life to be then how can you begin to live it?

Without your primary aim you wouldn't.

Great people are those who know how they got to be great and know what they need to do to get where they want to go. They have a vision of their lives that they practice emulating each and every day.

They go to work on their lives, they don't just live in them.

The difference between great people and the rest is that great people actively create their lives while everyone else is created by their lives and wait on passively to see where their lives are going to lead them.

This difference is the difference between living intentionally and living by accident.

How are you going to make money at home online with a successful work from home internet business if you just are happy to live by accident?

So here are a few questions to ask yourself before you start a work from home internet business or before you go back to your own money making home business tomorrow:

What do I wish my life to look like?

How do I wish my life to be on a day-to-day basis?

What would I like to be able to say I truly know in my life, about my life?

How would I like to be with other people in my life such as family, friends, business associates?

How would I like people to think about me?

What would I like to be doing in 2 years from now? 10 years from now?20 years from now?

What specific things would I like to learn during my life - spiritually, physically, financially, intellectually, about my relationships?

How much money will I need to do the things I wish to do in my life? By when will I need it?

These are just some of the many questions you can ask themselves in the creation of your Primary Aim.

The answers do not just give you your primary aim but also give you a set of standards by which you can assess your life and its progress. Without these standards your life will just drift aimlessly without purpose of meaning.
