Home Workouts - Time is No Excuse For Not Working Out!

Hey this is Susan and I am here today answering your top 10 most frequently asked questions.

Question #1: I work full time and then go home and take care of my family so I don't have any time to exercise. Any suggestions?

Answer: The first thing I suggest is trying to workout at home. Home workouts are a great way to save time. There's no need to drive all the way to the gym, spend time fighting the crowds there, watching all the guys watch themselves flex in the mirror, driving all the way back from the gym, that's at least an hour to an hour and a half of wasted time that you took away from your family or your job or whatever else is pressing in your life at the time. You could have been spending this time at home having never left, 20-30 minutes tops getting in your workout. The best thing about a home workout is that you can really squeeze it in whenever it is convenient for you.

20-30 minutes is all you need. Try after the kids go to bed, get up a half an hour early, and if you can't foresee 20-30 minutes where you can do a workout, try stealing smaller amounts of time throughout your day and accumulating them together.

For example, you could go to be 5 minutes later, you could ask someone else in your house to take care of the dishes or other chores that you normally do, or you could stop spending so much time on the internet like facebook. Spend 5 less minutes on facebook each day. The other thing you can do is workout while you are watching your favorite TV show. There is a few times per week where even I do a home workout while I am watching my favorite TV show.

The last thing that makes home workouts pretty cool is the fact that you do not need any fancy, expensive, or bulky home equipment. My three favorite pieces of equipment that I use regularly is the stability ball, dumbbells, and (one of my favorites) is a kettlebell.

So, no excuses as to why you can't get a home workout in!
