DirecTV and Dish Network are both satellite TV that have handsome packages which include a wide variety of foreign language programming options ranging from Chinese to several Spanish languages, Arabian to Mexican, Portuguese to French. In the contest for foreign language programming, Dish Network comes with 19 packages to DirecTV has 13. DirecTV comes with an abundance of sports programming, while Dish TV is known for being the leader in movie programming. Both of their top programming packages max out at 250 total channels of programming and Dish Network entitles in some 40 channels of free Sirius Satellite radio programming.
The radio programming of the satellite TV is completely commercial free and builds unique commitment to their programming packages off of a core group of basic programming channels that include such standards as MTV, ESPN, CNN and QVC. Both DirecTV and dish TV are entitled for such jobs. The Outdoor Channel, ESPN News, The Golf Channel are more channels for further reaches. Our choice in programming packages from Dish Network starts with the ultra-economical "Dish family Pak" of 40 channels that eventually proceeds to Americas Top 100, 200 and 250 programming packages that contain 100, 200 and 250 channels respectively.
With the "everything" pack HBO, Showtime Unlimited, Cinemax and Starz are just a few in the cards. The "Total Choice" of DirecTV comes with a series of programming packages. They are slightly different when it comes to the format which the channels are following. They range from 140 to 185 all the way up to their 250 channel programming package called "Total Choice Premier". DirecTV also allows you an addition of their high definition programming package to any one of their base level packages or you can choose their Choice Extra Plus. Still the discrepancy remains as DirecTV holds a total of 11 channels while dish network offers over 30 in all areas of coverage.
Hence to organize and focus on the equilibrium passage there are some things which dish TV offers and some are offered by direct TV. Both have a very thin line of difference. Still it completely depends on the individual who tries through two choices, in order to make an informed decision. There are some advantages with DirecTV who offer some ultra-premium sports channels that no other service provider carries and these are NFL Sunday Ticket and NCAA Mega March Madness. So it all really comes down to your own personal preferences when selecting between the two leading satellite TV service providers.
If you are an enormous movie geek choose dish network with no hesitancy and if you are an NFL fan DirecTV should be your choice. Dish network help us in viewing two channels simultaneously on the same screen where as DirecTV would help me to view movie channels at one row. We are of the habit to use modern technology. It makes our lives simple and quick. But we should take some time out to think how the whole process works. Because when it comes to package both have equal weight age.
