Yeast is present in humans all the time, serving some important functions in metabolism. Usually, it causes no problems and is checked by the immune system. Sometimes, this yeast grows to alarming levels and causes candidiasis. It is defined as the infection which is caused by family of yeast called as candida. Candida lives on the surface of our skin glands and its growth is stimulated more in warm and moist regions of body such as arm pits, food tract. Womenfolk are more prone to candidiasis because this fungi has tendency to increase in vaginal tract and causes disorders.
Candidiasis, like most fungal infections requires a host, medium in which to grow. Most fungi and bacteria prefer dampness, which is why symptoms tend to worsen in damp or moldy places, after eating foods containing sugar and or yeast. Thrush, diaper, groin rash, fungus, yeast infection, gooey discharge are watery, damp in nature, which is why they tend to attack women, children, those that eat low protein, low fat and high carbohydrate, especially raw and or live in a cold climate.
Candida yeasts are usually present in most people, but uncontrolled multiplication resulting in disease symptoms is kept in check by other naturally occurring microorganisms, such as good bacteria co-existing with the candida yeasts in the same locations.
Symptoms:
Some signs that might indicate you have a candidiasis yeast infection include noticing pain or a burning feeling when trying to urinate. The area around the vulva can be sore, red and itchy. Some women experience a white pasty discharge that is very thick. Keep in mind that it is possible to not have any symptoms and still have a yeast infection. If the lining of the mouth is red and sore then it is possible you have a mouth yeast infection. Sometimes creamy yellow sores will also appear.
The symptoms of a yeast infection include severe itching, burning, and soreness, irritation of the vagina and/or vulva, and a whitish to yellow-gray discharge with a foul-smelling odor.
To avoid the mixing up these signs with a number of other problems including skin and bacterial infections, you need to know how to make a first diagnosis of candidiasis. This means recognizing systemic signs also which include fatigue, vision that blurs, abnormal desire for sugar and white flour, food allergies, problems with your sinus and so on.
Treatment:
The yeast infection home remedy, when properly selected and applied, can completely relieve most of the symptoms of candidiasis of all kinds and gravities. This applies to most victims of Candida infection, and above all those who suffer from chronic and recurring candidiasis, and who are in desperation in their quest for relevant, lasting, robust options to replace prescribed and over the counter medicaments.
Medication - Some drugs when taken would cause an imbalance of the normal ratio of good bacteria versus bad bacteria. When such even happens, that region would have an increase risk of developing yeast infection, for it may trigger an overgrowth of Candida Albicans. Antibiotics are one of the main drugs that can disrupt such balance.
