Expanding your online income is one of the essential things you should learn when you have a website.

Assume most of your ads are with Google AdSense and let’s also suppose it makes up 90% of your online profit. What if Google cancel your account! You would lose 90% of your website's income, then what would you do? Would you be able to recover your losses immediately? For most individuals, the answer would be no.

If you have a site, you can diversify by using pay-per-click, direct leads, PPA or pay per action or by receiving commissions from promoting products or services.

Also make it a habit to view the performance of your website. One way of doing this is by monitoring which banners and ads are doing well and which ones are not. If I didn't have all of my other sites to pick up the slack, can you imagine the mess that would have been?

Another way to expand your sites is to have a number of them on various servers. These days, it’s cheap to host a website. If you throw one or two of them up on a $5.99 a month server and pay for a year's worth of hosting, you're doing the right thing. Not only does it have search engine benefits, but if one of your servers should go down, not all of your websites are down at once.
