In any type of business that you do, you need to brand yourself. Branding yourself means that you have to be a leader, a recognizable expert in your area. In the MLM. arena this is very important. You see, people do not join your opportunity, people join you, they join your organization.
They do not care about your company or compensation plan. They join you because they saw you as a leader, a person that they can follow. They found that you can solve their problems. They see you as a leader. A recognize leader gives value and you give value teaching, educating, helping people through their problems or fears. In MLM or Network Marketing industry the greatest problem for the average network marketer is recruiting and generating leads. If you are branding yourself online you need these basic things:
A website- brand it with your own name as the domain name. It gives you an edge over the average network marketer. Its helps you to be in the position of a leader.
To create trust you got to have good content on your site. For example you have your own blog in MLM, so give content about the things that almost everyone needs help. In this case is getting leads and recruiting. Give information to solve that problem. See yourself as a problem solver and everybody is going to see you as a problem solver.
Other thing you need to do is repetition. Spread the world your website. Tweet or Facebook the link of your blog. Also in the profile put the website. Create consistency with your readers. If you have a blog you can write two or three times a week. Try to do it the same days every week. This is going to make your audience going these specific days to your website.
So remember brand yourself to repetition and consistency and you are going to see the results.
