As the biggest and most widely used search engine in the World, we can easily assume that Google Makes money, and they do, billions of dollars a year in fact. However, you may not realize how many people and businesses are using Google to make money onilne. There are many many marketers that have figured Google out and make a Lot of money online. There are 3 ways to Use Google as a tool to get money online.

Google Adwords, or Pay Per Click (PPC), is the easiest way to get lots of traffic, really quickly. Implimenting Google Adwords (PPC) is actually pretty easy. You can easily expect to see results within hours of setting up your campaign. You select the keywords that are relevant to you site, build some text ads, set you budget and max bids and optimize as needed. Google has a good training center that introduces the basics of Adwords. I am sure you know Google makes A LOT of money. Their adwords program (PPC) is the source of most of this fortune. A marketer that implements Google Adwords well, can realize HUGE return on investment. Done poorly, a marketer can easily spend money and see no return. So it is important to understand your market, your target keywords and the Adwords system before setting up your first campaign. Google Adwords, or Pay Per Click (PPC), can be used to increase traffic to your existing ecommerce store or to a site promoting affilaite products. Marketers that have mastered Google Adwords make a lot of money this way.

Probably one of the most familiar programs of Googles is their Adsense program. With Google Adsense, Google Pays you directly. Like Adwords, Adsense is fairly easy to figure out. You get a code from Google that you place on your website(s). This code allows Google to show ads on your site. When your visitors click an ad, you make money. But the Golden Carrot of Internet Marketing is Organic traffic. Organic traffic is when a person comes to your site via Google (or other) search results. Someone typed a Keyword that Google recognized as relevant to your site, your site ranks well with Google, so your site is listed near to top on the first page of Google. You can get a HUGE stream of steady traffic, if you have your site listed on the first page of Google search results. It takes some strategy and time to get your site on the first page, but it is easier than you might think. There are a number of key things that must be considered when developing and optimizing a site (or post) for a chosen keyword phrase, this process is called SEO. This is easily an entire topic unto itself, so I won't get into SEO here. What is cool about this method of making money from Google is that there are A LOT of keyword prases that are just not well optimized by others. If you search that term and look for how well they (competing search results) utilize the different applications of SEO you will often find that very few sites are well optimized. What this means is that if you learn and apply the principals of SEO to your sites, you could end up on the first page of Google search for highly searched keyword phrases. Organic traffic is amazing, it is free, it can come in mass volumes and it can make you money from Google 24 hours a day.
