Being a resident of the Scottsdale area of Arizona has its own perks and highlights. Especially since it's considered to be one of the United State's most expensive locations for real estate. The listings for North Scottsdale homes for sale will show you many beautiful homes in posh communities. Probably one of the reasons for this is the fact that a lot of business areas are being developed, such as the Scottsdale Airpark. This is a huge complex that houses a lot of large corporate offices in America.
Scottsdale is also known for its great reputation in tourism and its impact on the local economy. Many tourists and locals enjoy the Thursday night "Art Walk" in Downtown Scottsdale as a very culturally-enlightening experience. Scottsdale has always prided itself of its western-influenced heritage. The Old Town district in particular is an popular art complex with a predominant western theme which attracts locals and tourists all year round. Upper class, high end amenities, beautiful galleries and theaters helped Scottsdale earn the reputation of being classy and cultured.
Film enthusiasts will find the annual Scottsdale International Film Festival to be quite exciting. It has always been popular for showing a well-rounded and diverse collection of films that represent different cultures all around the world. It's quite an educating experience.
Another upper scale local tradition that draws the affluent crowd to Scottsdale is the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show. Thousands of beautiful Arabian and mixed breed horses go on a parade for the show. This is a tradition that began back in the 1950's and has since been one of the most well-attended local traditions of Arizona.
There's also the very popular Jaycees Parada del Sol, which is a display of western culture at its finest. the Jaycees Parada del Sol is a modern day rodeo event and runs for about a month long. The event is kicked off by a huge parade of horse drawn carriages. The parade alone is the longest parade of horse drawn carriages in the United States.
Scottsdale is also well-known for its upscale shopping districts. One of the most popular would be the Scottsdale Fashion Square. Not only is this considered one of the most lucrative malls in the United States, it's also filled with designer stores and a lot of posh boutiques which many people from the upperclass crowd will love visiting.
There's also the world-famous Scottsdale Culinary Festival which is held annually in Scottsdale. This cook-off is held among some of the most prominent personalities in the culinary world. To date, the Scottsdale Culinary Festival is one of the longest-running festivals of its kind in the United States.
All this excitement is part and parcel of living in this vibrant and culturally refined world of Scottsdale. North Scottsdale real estate properties are especially likely to be in the center of all these developments. If you're thinking about potential, Scottsdale certainly has a lot of that.
