- What type of hearing device best suits you? There are so many different types of devices available these days that finding one that suits you won’t be hard to do. If you don’t mind people knowing you wear a hearing aid then you might like the BTE or behind the ear style.
If you want one that is invisible to the average observer then the CIC or completely in the canal hearing aids might be what you want. The type you choose really depends on the severity of your hearing loss and the style that you prefer.
- How much can you afford to spend on a hearing device? This is always an important question to answer because you don’t want to go broke getting a hearing aid. Take time to figure out your budget before choosing any type of hearing device so you don’t spend more than you can afford to.
