The Misinterpretation of Hunger
Do you believe that you actually know when you are hungry or not? Of course you do...right? Well you may be wrong!
If you have just eaten a decent meal or a substantial snack two hours ago and you feel hungry, well actually YOU ARE NOT. Either you are thirsty or you are tired.
Try to apply the following rule and you will realize that it always works.Try to drink a big glass of water when the stomach is sending this wrong command to the brain. You will trick it.
The Mistaken Hunger - due to the inadequate nutrition
The mistaken hunger happens because of the inadequate nutrition. If you had, for example, a big lunch which was simple carbohydrates rich and with no fibres, proteins or healthy fats, than you must have experienced the low blood sugar sensation. This is a mistaken hunger. Because of those ingredients you ate which are not satiable, your brain receives the wrong command from your stomach. In this case what you should do is to take a healthy snack or a piece of fresh fish , nuts or cheese.
The Mistaken Hunger - due to the lack of sleep
The lack of sleep causes an important decrease in the hormones level. The tiredness can determine people to eat more, usually sweets to get an overdose of energy. This fact reduces the sensation of hunger for a little while. After that the lack of energy feeling and the hunger sensation appear again. All these lead to a vicious circle.
If all this looks kind of familiar to you, next time when you feel that hunger pain too soon after your meal, take a 10 minutes walk because the fresh air helps, just as much as the physical exercises, to increase the blood circulation and to "restore your system".
