I would like to sit here and inform you about the amazing and eco-friendly benefits of solar power but I would rather save us both some time and get directly to the point. Self produced renewable energy such as solar power is about to become one of the most necessary investments you can make. So much that you really won’t be able to afford to live without having the benefits of solar power.
Everybody is well aware of the high dollar government bailout but to help pay back some of that debt, Obama's new 2010 budget included a tremendously costly cap-and-trade energy tax on oil, natural gas, and coal. Most are expecting that this energy tax could cost people more than $2 trillion over the short span of the next 8 years. And do not think this is a temporary problem because this energy tax will continue until the year 2050.
If you really want to find out what this boils down to, bear in mind that the price of home energy averages at around $112.32 per month right now. Once this new energy tax is in full effect, the predicted costs are likely to reach $562.67 per month. So many of us will be depending on the benefits of solar power because we cannot manage the additional $450 cost per month.
Obama knows just what this is going to do to consumers. With the big bad oil, coal, and natural gas companies monopolizing the energy market, he is attempting to help solar power compete as a new less expensive power source.
So think long and hard about these 3 benefits of solar power.
#1 Benefit of Solar Power - You Can't Regulate It
In fact, of all the different benefits of solar power the most significant one is that solar energy itself can't be regulated. In other words, the government will never be able to control or tax you for creating your own solar power.
#2 Benefit of Solar Power - It is Economically A lot more Stable Than Coal, Oil, and Natural Gas
The cost of oil, coal, and natural gas are dictated directly by the law of supply and demand. So if the demand increases, so does the price.
But solar energy does not fall prey to these same economic laws because it is not a tradable commodity. Instead, the sun will shine each and every day with an endless supply of energy that will never be depleted.
#3 Benefit of Solar Power – It is One of the Only True Sources of Energy which are Free
You will never have to pay for solar energy. That is not to say that there is no charge for the materials required to obtain and use the solar energy but the energy itself is free. And bear in mind that this new energy tax is going to push energy prices sky high making the cost of even a professional solar power system quite attractive.
If you want one of the most stable, unlimited, and free source of power there is then solar power is it. And you can now tack on all of the other benefits of solar power on top of that. But you always have the choice of sticking with what you have and forking over an extra $450 each month instead.
