I'm sure you tried any system available to lose those five pounds: you adjusted your diet, you went jogging, perhaps you went as far as to consult a specialist. It might have worked for a while, but bad habits and a low metabolism are hard to work with. We live in harsh and fast times where the way we look has never been more important. The reason you ask? think about all the technology around us, what sense is it necessary to use it? Sight. The way you look is the way you are for most people.
Accepting your body is the first step. No one wants to convince you that there's something wrong with you, but as much as you can live with those pounds of fat, you can also have the power and control to change yourself and your body, into something you want. I mean it, change yourself into something YOU want, don't chase a dream, fulfill your wish but be sure you're consistent with it and 100% ready to take a big step forward.
It will be my honor then to advice you on this path, and give you some useful tips on the journey:
-The most important tip: eat healthy. I don't want you to starve nor to eat junk food
-By healthy I mean: loads and loads of vegetables, greens. Reduce your meat and protein income
-Did you know that proteins and not calories are responsible for most of the fat in our bodies?
-Eat the right proteins: beans and other delicatessen are there for you
-Fruit can be a snack, did you know that?
-Avoid the elevators or walk the first floors if possible
-Ride your bicycle, take every opportunity to move those muscles!
-No more remote control. This is a tip my very own aunt gave me, if you believe that, she would stand up from the couch and change the channel from the TV set
-Every time you have 15 minutes to kill, push ups and abs could be your trained assassins
Some may come hard, some may come easy. It mostly depends on your previous habits and schedules. Take it as an opportunity not only to change the way you look, but how the world around you shines as well. Modify your routines, think about what's most important for you but before everything else: take action!
