Buying Leads... Is it a Do or Don't?
Hello my name is Amos Jones and I am a Full-Time Marketer and Coach.
I wanted to discuss a crucial question asked by a lot of distributors in the network marketing or sales industry. That question is whether or not to purchase leads.
What is the answer you ask?
Well my answer is an absolute NO. From my experience and team of 2,000 plus network marketing peers under the same company, we've learned though rarely admit, purchasing leads is a false hope mechanism.
It works momentarily to entice you and causes you to believe you're making progress monetarily but eventually you run out of funds to purchase leads. Thus it becomes a gamble.
Here is THE alternative.
Instead of a third party lead source, YOU are your largest and best source for leads. In the end you make the final contact with the lead to convert them correct? How many of us would hold on to a bank account that charges us to withdraw money?
Not many huh?
Why pay someone to do what you can do yourself.
Here is a brief synopsis on how to achieve sustained success and cut out the lead sources for GOOD!
-First step is to brand yourself as an expert/leader in your market/industry.
Your face, name, and leadership trumps any lead source any day.
-Second step. Create a capture site yourself with your face and knowledge offering free advice or info. Whether you feel you're an expert or not you are. Individuals need help and they go to the Internet for just that.
Your lead source understands that concept.
On this capture site you would need a field to capture the potential leads info which is linked to an auto-responder.
Sounds similar to your lead source huh? Only difference is it's all you and it's in abundance rather than priced by orders.
- Lastly, marketing then puts you in the driver seat and it is easier and more rewarding than you can imagine.
