The award winning TV series The Wonder Years (1998-1993) was one of the highly acclaimed TV series of the 80’s. It is not only because it tackles the social issue of the teenagers but also it tackles the historic events of the 60’s to the 70’s on a teenager’s point of view. The Wonder Years is a TV series about Kevin Arnold (Fred Savage) as he reminisce his teenage years where he face the troubles and trials of High school life. Along with his geeky best friend Paul Pfeiffer (Josh Saviano) who is always on Kevin’s side, and Winnie Cooper (Danica McKellar) Kevin’s top love interest.
It’s been 13 years since the end of the hit TV series. Where are the cast of the award winning TV series? What are their careers?
Fred Savage who plays the role of Kevin Arnold made a number of TV shows and movies since the end of the Wonder Years TV series. He starred numerous TV series like the comedy TV series “Working” where he played the role of a hardworking employee Matthew 'Matt' Peyser on a multinational company with bizarre employees. He also appears on Austin Powers the Goldmember(2002) movie where he played the role of Number 3 one of the minion of Dr. Evil. Fred Savage produced the Disney channel TV series “Phil of the Future” and directed Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh.
Josh Saviano in the other hand did not continue his acting career. After the series finale of The Wonder Years, Josh continue his studies in Yale University major in Political Science (1998) and worked at a Manhattan Law firm as an associate attorney. He earned his Law degree in Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He was admitted to the New York State Bar on the year 2004. He is now a corporate Lawyer.
Danica McKellar who played Winnie Cooper continued her career after graduating summa cum laude in Mathematics from University of California, Los Angeles. She appeared on several TV series and Movies such as Justice for Annie, Babylon 5, King of the Hill, The West Wing and she is also the voice of Jubilee in the video game X-men Legends. She will also be the voice of Brittany on the up coming cartoon movie Bongee Bear and the Kingdom of Rhythm.
The Wonder Years is truly a piece of the past that will never be forgotten.
