Exeter International Airport (EXT) operates from one comprehensive terminal which provides ten check-in desks, four gates and two luggage claim belts.
During the past decade I had to catch numerous of flights from Exeter airport. As a business man I use the facility frequently mainly for business trips. As I always arrive at the airport complex by private car it is of great importance to me which parking sites provides the best services. Due to my extensive travelling the past ten years I know by now what to expect from each available parking agency and in general they provide similar and good services. However, the only differences between the various car parks are the locations and parking costs. I also advice that you leave yourself sufficient time to get to the Exeter airport in case of delays as the motorways around the air hub can become extreme busy during rush hours and the busy holiday season.
Exeter Airport boasts four car parks, one for short-terms and the other provide long-stay parking services. The short-stay P1 and the long-stay facility P2 are located nearby the terminal which can easily be reached on foot, while the long-stay parking sites P3 and P4 offer a free passenger transfer service. There are also sufficient spaces available for physically handicapped motorists. The lots are excellently secured, with 24-hour surveillances, bright lighting and CCTV.
There are several ways for paying your car parking rate. Short-duration car park P1 and the long-duration amenity P2 have two opportunities. You can pay at the site’s barrier by credit card or in cash and the second option is using a Pay Station, where you also can pay in cash or with your credit card. The two long-stay parking amenities P3 and P4 can be paid for at the car park’s barrier or at one of the pay stations.
The best way of arranging your car parking at Exeter Airport is by booking it in advance online. You have the option to reserve parking space at companies such as Exeter Holiday Parking (off airport) and Exeter Parking Unlimited which offer the very convenient Meet and Greet parking service. If you really want to treat yourself than the chauffeured parking service is what you should choose. When you arrive at the airport you just have to telephone Parking Unlimited and inform them about your time of arrival. One of their staff will meet you at the short-term parking facility which is located 20 metres from the airport terminal. Your car will be parked for you at a secured site nearby the airport. Once you return from your trip your vehicle will be driven back to you at the short-term parking lot for immediate departure. You can save yourself a great deal of time by pre-booking through the internet. In addition, these online services below offer discounted parking rates and as we all know that parking your car at Exeter airport is pretty dear, reducing the costs is a real benefit.
