Your aunt is a spinster. She owned a house in North Park. However, because of her age, she has decided that life may be better in Florida. With that, she sent you a letter saying that her North Park home now belongs to you. With two houses to deal with, you have two responsibilities. You have to check so that each house is doing well and that each is maintained right. It was all tiresome so in the end, you decided to sell the house that your aunt left you and your aunt has agreed with your decision.
A real estate agent is the one thing that you should have when you have a home to put in the market. This agent will be the one to assist you in selling what you have to offer. On your end though, you have had bad luck with real estate agents so you decide that you can be the agent that you need. You think you can do and it is worth the while as you will have to shell out less on the fees that you would give to the agent. But it is essential that you understand that though there may not be agent fees to pay, you still have to do advertising so that means fees still.
Preparation is something that you have to do is you want to become your own agent. Calls from those who may be interested in the home may come in at hours that you may not imagine. Plus, you also have to take them on a tour of the house.
The price is another thing that you have to consider. Since you are selling a home, there should be a price attached to think. Thinking up of a price can be difficult as you want to make the most money. But you also have to think of the home and its condition so that the price is just right and in the right range for the area that it is in.
With the price being in the right range, you have the advantage of being competitive. And that means selling the home faster than those with high prices.
A fact sheet is another matter that you have to attend to if you are going to be your own agent. This is something that you give potential buyers. This should look professionally made and that means the photos should be in color and the page is not messy. It is important that you state there the important details that they would need to know and that includes the price of the unit, the features that are in the home, any utilities, any amenities that are there, and other facts that should get them interested. It is also essential that your contact information is in the fact sheet.
Advertise. Get the word out and sending out your fact sheet to various places where there are lots of people will help. A For Sale sign should also be on the property.
Your friends can help you too by playing the role of potential buyers to a North Park real estate. That way, you can practice how to show the house around. Selling this house may be the start of a change in your career and so you can become a real North Park homes for sale agent.
