HGH or human growth hormone is the hormone that makes humans grows. This hormone is naturally produced in the pituitary gland which is located within the brain. HGH is what mainly affects a person's height though it is also responsible for increasing muscles, strengthening the bones, controlling blood sugar levels, boosting the immune system, assisting with calcium retention and reducing fat. When HGH makes contact with tissue, organs and cells it causes growth making them larger in size.
HGH is produced at levels for normal growth during childhood, puberty and early adulthood but as young adults reach full growth the hormone levels decrease. As aging occurs the HGH levels become lower and the effects of this cause the body to lose its youthful state. The body then begins to experience health problems and the skin loses it elasticity along with increased body fat, loss of sex drive, high cholesterol, lack of energy and decrease in muscle mass.
Since the body's levels of HGH become as depleted as people age HGH supplements have become very popular. HGH is available in three different forms, oral spray, injection and pill form. The oral spray is sprayed on the tongue and inside the mouth. Some people suggest that this form has been scientifically proven to have no effect on the body since the HGH cannot be absorbed through the mouth area. The injection form is costly but since it is injected directly into the body it is the most effective and a prescription is required. Doctors normally only prescribe this hormone when younger people have a deficiency of it. Also it is not pure HGH but a man-made synthetic that acts like real HGH with many side effects.
The HGH pills are taken daily and some are time released so the body can absorb them slowly. There are no side effects with these HGH supplements because their components are made with all natural herbal ingredients. The studies that have been done on these supplements show that they do increase levels of HGH but also affect each individual differently. Some have good results while others may not. The herbs in the HGH supplement act on the pituitary gland stimulating it to produce HGH. These supplements should be taken at bedtime because the pituitary gland is more active while sleeping.
HGH supplements can help to firm skin, decrease body fat, increase muscle, speed up metabolism, and make your skin, nails and hair healthier, decrease wrinkles and much more. Before taking any supplements always make sure to read the ingredients carefully to avoid any allergic reactions.
