So for example, you can buy a .95 carat for each ring, and that way it will not look different than three one carat rings, but you're going to pay a lot less.

Next tip is transparency. It's just to make sure that you do not buy a diamond that looks milky or cloudy because it will lack brilliance.

Another thing you can do is, you might want to consider a trip to the pawn shop. Sometimes you will find amazing rings there for a low price.
