Do You Know That You Make These Mistakes Putting?

According to the USGA the typical golf score in the USA is about 105. Because putts make up about 40% of the average golf score that means that most golfers are taking more than 40 putts per round. That means 4 - 5 three putts a round, or worse.
If that seems like you, then your putting mistakes are keeping you "average" and you do not have to be. If you could lower your number of putts to a feasible 30 - 32 putts per round, you would immediately become a "better than average" golfer, and without doing a darn thing different - other than knowing the right putting techniques.
-
Ball Position. From whom did you learn the correct ball position for your distinctive body and temperament? Was it trial and error - but mostly error? Did you ever hear about setting up with your dominant eye? Ball position is a crucial putting technique, and it's different for every man, woman and child who plays golf.
-
The Putting Grip. Do you know that studying the putting grips of the pros on TV, or even the good golfers on the course, is giving you the wrong message? There is one thing that is so deceptive about looking either at your own hands or at another golfer's hands on the putter grip, that correcting this basic mistake will roll more putts on line then you ever have in your life.
-
Lining Up Your Feet. No matter how careful you are there is a very good chance that the way you line up your feet to make a putt takes the ball off line to the break or to the hole. You hardly ever notice it on a long, breaking putt, but oh brother, you notice it big time when those 3 footers kiss the lip and keep on rolling past the hole.
You need to know more because this information is not available anywhere else. Good putting techniques are a learned skill. Even if you will never-ever reach a par 5 in two, you can be a much better putter than those long hitters, and take their money besides - if you learn the right putting technique from the right teacher.
