The greatest sporting event, the FIFA World Cup is in South Africa this year. What better way to support your favourite team than buying World Cup shirts? Even if you did not make the trip to the event, you can still wear the t-shirts wherever you are on the planet, because the World Cup is universal. So owning your very own FIFA World Cup shirt is a great way to celebrate and remember the good times, even after the tournament has finished.
All of the teams that are participating in the World Cup 2010 will have shirts that you can buy. These shirts come in a variety of colours, sizes and styles, and are also affordable! The shirts can be from any of the many shirts that are under the global banner of FIFA. Every nation has a shirt that represents them with their official logo and so much more!
There are quite a few striking shirts out there. These are the shirts that Adidas sponsored in the World Cup 2010. All Adidas shirts in general had the same design, with the three stripes on the shoulders and the Adidas logo right in the centre, directly under the neck line.
Portugal: The Portugal team has opted for green shirts with red stripes on the shoulders.
South Africa: The Bafana Bafanas selected bright yellow with green standard Adidas lines as their main shirt design.
France: The French t-shirts are very popular – they are dark deep blue with their nations flag colours to go as the stripes.
Argentina: Not surprisingly, the South Americans have light blue and white stripes all over, quite disguising the white Adidas stripes.
Nigeria: The Super Eagles are wearing plain green shirts with white Adidas stripes – the green here is similar to Portugal.
Germany: The Germans have opted for white shirts this year, with black stripes. There is a little vertical patriotic strip down the badge, which makes it very special indeed.
Denmark: The Danes are sporting a bright red shirt with white stripes.
Japan: The Asians have opted for a dark blue shirt with white stripes. To add their national touch, their shirt has red bits here and there and their flag imprinted on it.
Paraguay: The South Americans opted for bright red and white stripes, with the Adidas bands in white.
Slovakia: The Slovakian’s shirts are rather dull being white with thin blue lines.
Spain: The Spaniards are sporting a bright red shirt with yellow lines.
Greece: Their shirts are similar looking to the Slovakian, white with blue lines.
