Here are 3 opening strategies to get you running out of the gates at full speed when you create your ad or sales letter.

Opening Strategy #1: Use the magic of questions

This is a fantastic way of getting your prospect thinking right from the outset. Here's an example you could use for a company selling investment opportunities:

Don't you wish you had the foresight to have purchased an investment property in Melbourne 25 or 30 years ago? What if I could show you how to gain advance knowledge of future events like this again and turn that knowledge into a veritable truckload of money?

When was the last time you actually had an insight into an event like this and could almost predict how the future was going to pan out, AND knew how to turn this prediction into a windfall of profits?

Opening Strategy #2: Get your customer to agree with you

A great way to get your readers eyeballs glued to the page is to kick off your copy with an intriguing statement they are almost certain to agree with. You achieve two things 1) you get their interest 2) You get them onside almost immediately.

Here's a few examples...

A lawyer would gladly chase a hopeless legal chase just to cut a hole right through your wallet

For a small number of Australians, the upcoming economic collapse will cause thousands of businesses to disappear. But you don't need to be one of these people. I've rushed you this fascinating bulletin because I'm convinced I can show you how to spit in the eye of the recession and get an unfair advantage over your competitors...

If you think petrol is expensive now, just wait until December

Opening Strategy #3: Get to the point

There's no better way of getting your prospects attention than cutting to the chase and diving right in. Here's an example:

There is no more powerful way to do this than learning how to create killer sales copy. Sales copy can be used to attract new customers... reignite old customers... or create a word of mouth frenzy.

If you cannot write great sales copy, you are already letting thousands of dollars slip through your fingers with
