For example, nearly any exercise that makes use of dumbbells can be done with an exercise ball. Using an exercise ball permits numerous variations on traditional dumbbell exercises and will allow you to work your muscles from various angles, which is always a benefit.

Triceps Extension
When you are doing triceps extensions you should either lie or sit on the exercise ball. This way your entire midsection and your legs will get a great balancing workout. You will have to steady yourself and make sure that your arms are absolutely still and steady. While either both arms or only one, lift your upper arms from the bent position only while you are holding the dumbbell. Keep your arm in a straight line while you are straightening it, and don’t let the momentum help. You should squeeze your triceps at the top of each exercise.
Triceps Kickback
While keeping your feet on the floor and resting your non working arm on your chest, do the exercise. Keep your entire body stable and still and hold a dumbbell in your working arm and keep it nearly parallel to your side. Use only your upper arm, and push the dumbbell back until your arm is straight, and then squeeze your triceps. Try to keep your arm in a straight line and allow your triceps, rather than the momentum, do the work. Similarly when you drop your arm to the starting position, make sure that your triceps do the work as opposed to allowing gravity to do it for you.
Buttocks Exercises

Your core and abdominal muscles will benefit as well, as will your overall strength and sense of balance.
