Worried that you will be bored in Vegas if you do not gamble? Do not fret. This is a city built around entertainment.

Here are some of our favorite non gambling Vegas treats:

ALADDIN - They have a rain display where water falls from the ceiling into a reflecting pool below.

BALLY’S HOTEL - Light, water and sound show

BARBARY COAST HOTEL - This is the place to go to see the Big Elvis.

Love to Fish? Check out the fishing demonstrations at the Bass Pro Shops. Enjoy your favorite Sinatra tunes as you the Bellagio fountains dance to the music. This is one of the most spectacular free shows that you can see on the strip. Then stroll into the Bellagios fabulous lobby and marvel at the works of art. They change the decorations in their indoor garden for every season and holiday. The plant scultptures that they create are amazing.

If your children love animals check out the Bonnie Springs Petting Zoo. It is like you get to step back in time and experience the wild west. There is a mining town (small fee), plus a miniature locomotive.

BOULDER CITY - Hoover dam - this tour is not very exciting but the view is wonderful.

CAESARS PALACE - Caesar and Cleopatra walk around inside waiting for you to quiz them about historical events. Check out their aquarium too. You can take a free tour every weekday to find out how the fish tank works and what the employees do to keep the fish happy.

CAESARS PALACE FORUM SHOPS - Every hour two fountains come to life. There are two shows. ne show has Bacchanal as the star and the next show lets you enjoy Neptune. Very popular and crowded. To easily slip out watch near the back of the crowd. Remember to be in place at the start of the hour.

CANNON AVIATION MUSEUM - This is located at the McCarran International Airport. There is a large exhibit about the aviation history of Las Vegas.

Just as the name says, go visit Chinatown and take in some wonderful authentic Chinese food. A great experience and lots of fun.

The Adventure dome is free to tour and if you have a bit of extra cash you can go on the ride. This is one way to experience the Grand Canyon without going out there. From 11am to 12pm, every 20 minutes, a different circus act performs on the midway above the casino.

And for all of you coffee addicts out there definitely go to the Coffee Roasters of Las Vegas. There are tours and classes - tours are free - and you also get to enjoy a free sample.

ETHEL M CHOCOLATES - now who doesn’t like chocolate? They have a great tour showing how they make fudge, chocolate squares and more. And of course everyone gets a free piece of chocolate at the end.

EXCALIBUR - If you are traveling with children definitely check this out. They will love the court Jester performances and medieval acts

THE FASHION SHOW MALL - Love your designer labels? Come here for their fashion shows.

And these are just a few of the things you can do if you do not like to gamble. And that is without even mentioning all of the fabulous shows that you can see from Cirque du Soleil to amazing magic.
