You have seen over and over again people claiming that they have made tons of money last month alone in network marketing and you can too! Although it is likely they are telling the truth and they use many catchy phrases to grab your attention, they do not bring up that 97% of the people who start a home based business fail!

Reason 1) They do not pick the right company. A lot of companies make it too difficult for the average person to make money. Another problem also is that most start up companies go out of business.

Reason 2) People do not meet their financial objectives in network marketing, or MLM because they do not get any help or they do not choose the correct team. It is almost impossible to do well in network marketing without the proper training and coaching. So not only should you pick the right company, but also the correct team and / or mentor.

Reason 3) Being coachable is essential to your success in any company. If you ask 100 successful network marketers what their secret to success is, 95 of them will tell you it was following the proven system. If you pick the correct company and the correct mentor, they will tell you what that proven system is. Than it is up to you to follow their instructions exactly. This is for all of you "Type A" personalities out there; Work the system long enough to make a full time income, and than go mess it up by trying to create your own system, or reinvent the wheel.

Reason 4) Not being consistent or quitting. One of the most important things in network marketing is to make a decision. Really decide that you are going to do this business 2 hours per day, at least, for one year. Do not even evaluate yourself or the business until you have talked to at least 100 people. Most people fail in this business because they quit right before they start generating results. In fact, the only possible way to fail in network marketing is to quit.
