Majority of the people have the misconception that one cannot increase height after a certain age. This is quite true to a certain extent since the height which you attain depends a lot on the genes you have inherited from your parents. These genes contain the growth hormone which is responsible for the height of an individual. But, you can trigger these growth hormones by following a proper and correct exercises and diet to increase height. In a few months you will definitely see some positive changes in your height.
Before you learn about the diet to increase height, you should know correct height increase exercises that will help you to get the best results. If you are planning to increase your height then remember you cannot achieve your goal in one day. You will need patience and will power to continue the fitness regime. It is human psychology that when we begin the fitness routine, we are all powered up and ready to face the challenges. In order to increase ones height, exercise alone is not sufficient. Along with these exercises, proper diet to increase height should be maintained to get fast and positive result. These mostly include foods enriched with proteins, vitamins and calcium. Foods enriched with protein are essential because this component is vital for maintaining proper antibodies functioning, regulating enzymes and hormones and also for the growth and repair of body tissues. Protein enriched foods include fish, milk, nut, soybean cake, meat, etc. Along with protein enriched, vitamin A and D plays a key role to increase height.
Foods enriched with vitamin A are essential in the diet to increase height because it helps to enhance the grown hormones. Foods that are orange in color are enriched with this vitamin namely carrots, red bell peppers, lime, papaya, oranges, etc. This vitamin can also be found in dairy products, fish cod, tomatoes, broccoli, etc. Along with Vitamin A, Vitamin D enriched foods are also essential to increase height as it helps in the formation of strong and healthy bones. Fish, egg yolk, liver are some of the foods that are enriched with this vitamin.
Apart from these, diet to increase height should also include food enriched with minerals. For the production of nails, teeth, bones, blood, hormones, etc, a human body uses eighty different minerals. Minerals are essential to our body as it helps in the better functioning of blood circulation, nerve transmission, cellular integrity, muscle contraction and energy production. Thus, minerals like calcium, iron, phosphorus and magnesium are essential in your diet if you want to increase height. Foods that are enriched in calcium minerals include milk and diary products, dry shrimp, shell, cabbage, salmon, etc. Meat is the best example for food enriched with iron. Some cereals and vegetables are also enriched with iron. Magnesium minerals are usually found in nuts, legumes, avocado, diary products, met, chocolates, cereals, etc.
