Part Two: Jeff Usner Shares on Communication
This is part three of a three-part series on communication.
In the earlier parts of this series on communication I talked about the importance of communication. Now I want to talk to you about some practical steps you can take to communicate with the people around you.
Sit down with them and talk about your goals. What are you going to accomplish together with your team or family?
Discuss the challenges that you will encounter, like having less time to spend with your family. Write it out and get an agreement. Go over it together and make sure that it's really clear so that they know what to expect upfront. I would do this with an employee or an independent contractor as well as my family.
If you don't sit down and set the expectations clearly, you are going to be on a bumpy road for a long time. You may even find yourself off that road very quickly. People will be frustrated that you are not there as much. They don't have a good idea of where this is all going. Everyone around you will bail out on you.
So before that happens, take the time to communicate properly with your family and team. Then you can go on a journey with your team supporting you all the way. You'll come to the end of that rough road you started on and you will all get to enjoy some smooth sailing as you become more and more successful in your business.
If you get really good at a skill set such as affiliate marketing, PPC or whatever your business is, then you can get other things off your plate. What we teach in other training series about outsourcing and other techniques will make things much easier. Later on down the road you will find that the effort that you make is minimal but it creates large results.
Make sure that the team you are with on this journey supports you 100 percent. I'll see you guys at the top. Thanks for reading this.
I'm a country boy from PA that found this thing called the internet - gave up medical school & pioneered several multi-million dollar companies online. I've generated millions of profit generating leads online. I love helping others reach their goals. Check out http://www.jeffusner.com for more free training!
