Compensation is a term that is used to describe the money that is given when someone is injured or damaged in some way. A worker can feel financially secure on the job because they will be paid while they are out of a job because of an injury. Workers will be able to feed their family even though they are unable to get to their job because of their injuries. The mounting medical expenses will be paid for by the insurance policy and until the employee gets well and goes back to work, everything will be covered. The policy will also cover the employees family in the event the worker is killed on the job or dies because of their injuries.
