Playa Blanca at the southernmost tip of Lanzarote, enjoys a year round springlike weather pattern. With temperatures rarely dipping below 18 degrees celsius, it makes it a popular choice for holidaymakers from all over Europe and beyond. During the summer months of July to September, the temperatures really hot up - often reaching a scorching 35 degrees. The sun is extremely strong here, so even when it is cloudy, we recommend that people take care and ALWAYS wear suitable sun cream and protection.
Playa Blanca is an extremely family-friendly town... with plenty to do for all the family, whether inside the resort itself... or by easy road access to other areas of the island.

Accommodation is of a high standard here, especially when looking at Lanzarote villas, as there is rarely a villa without a pool or simple access to the town and all the amenities it has to offer.
Hotels are between 3 and 5 star, with everything available from self catering to all-inclusive.
The town itself has a number of beaches, from the coves at Papagayo, across to the white sands of Dorada and Flamingo.
The seafront is flanked by a beautiful promenade... which plays host to some excellent restaurants and of course bars. Carnival (or Carnaval as it is known locally) is held at the end of each February or early March and the whole town turns out in fancy dress - ready to party along all day and through the night until the following dawn. The procession goes from the old harbour, through the town... ending at the church in the centre. From there - revellers spread out amongst the many bars and discos, with big happy smiles.
