Even the most outstandingly designed trade show exhibits will eventually need a redesign. There are several different reasons why you might decide to change the design now, but the ultimate goal is always the same: to have a great stand which will last for years into the future. With some forethought and a bit of planning, you'll be able to create great trade show booths which will have the durability and flexibility to serve through many future conventions.
Why Do A Complete Redesign?
If you have only one display, you should periodically examine it to ensure it still represents your company. It is perfectly logical and beneficial to reuse the stand when possible, but there comes a point when a new one is necessary. Perhaps the materials have become outdated as newer designs featuring fiberglass composite and other lightweight, yet durable, options are available. Or perhaps the design is just too old to compete with more modern trade show booths.

The key to getting great results is to think completely outside the box. During the initial design phase, let your imagination lead. Don't focus on things like space constraints or even financial constraints. With today's materials, there is no telling what can be accomplished in a small space or with limited finances. Redesigning now may appear to be an excellent opportunity to capitalize on all the latest trends in trade show exhibits. This may seem like a good idea, and you'll certainly end up with a beautiful display. However, a display that focuses solely on trends will not have the staying power of the more classic trade show exhibits. If you are comfortable spending money more frequently, then you will feel secure with a highly trend-focused display knowing that you may need to update or replace it when the trends change. However, if you are highly budget-conscious, then choosing a display which will remain classic for a long time may be the best option.
Ensure High Quality Manufacturing
Once you have developed a design concept for your new display, you should consider where to manufacture it. Look for a company that is well-versed in new materials like fiberglass composite and is also able to make your design concept a reality. The best option here is to choose an established company that has made many booths in the past. This is particularly crucial if you decide to use a display that has some kind of special technology incorporated into it, such as a projector screen or other form of integrated media.
