When there's a case of headache most people want to end this torture as soon as possible and the most obvious choice for pain relief are typical painkiller medications. Today there's a huge variety of over-the-counter and prescription medications effective in eliminating headache, and choosing one depends on the severity of pain and the options available at your local pharmacy. All the medications are advertised as providing a unique way of relieving pain, but is that really so?
However, according to different market studies there's not much difference in the way most analgesic medications eliminate headache. Some patients are more susceptible to one type of drugs, while others have allergic reactions to another one. But in the end it all boils down to the actual effectiveness of a drug and its price. Because they are virtually all the same.

Massage is an intuitive and the easiest option for any person suffering from headaches, especially tension-induced headaches. Tension in the neck or shoulders is often the reason for headaches, so massaging these regions really helps relieve the unpleasant sensations without using drugs like Tramadol.
Chiropractic sessions are used to relax the body in general and ease the tension in neck and shoulders, providing pain relief effect for headaches as well. This is especially useful if a person suffers from migraines and other forms of chronic headaches.
Yoga is a very effective practice for eliminating tensions and relaxing the body in general. Many people who have started doing yoga report having headaches far less often then before employing this technique. Yoga is known to help relieve pain associated with other conditions as well so it's a very broad-range pain management method.
