Furthermore, an increase in the consumption of cholecystokini-containing food also decreases appetite, thereby decreasing food intake.
Catechins are antioxidants found in many Chinese herbal medicinal plants and in abundance in tea plants such as the Camellia sinensis and chocolates, red wine, berries and apples. Due to the strong association of tea to long life and good health, there have been a number of researches devoted to it. The catechins found in tea leaves have shown to inhibit the growth of certain cancer cells, although not yet conclusive. Recent studies prove that green tea catechins help promote exercise-induced abdominal fat loss.
